Did Someone say Lunch?!?!?

I attended the first annual Tombstone Steampunk Parade in Tombstone Az. And let me say, it was a blast!

We were supposed to come up with an original character (not a problem), and name for the character, and a back story.
I chose the name "Adara Von Steinherz" Which means fire of the stone heart. My back story is as follows:

"She grew up in the church with a crazy priest of a father. During communion he would mix the wine with holy water for extra protection against evil. He would even make the wafers out of garlic bread. Tired of his control she ran away to elope with her first love, Elroy. On the night they were supposed to leave and be wed, he bit her (she didn't know he was a vampire). However, due to the years of ingesting holy material she did not turn fully. Now as revenge and repentance to her father, she hunts vampires."

Long story short I am a Steampunk Vampire-Vampire hunter.

The parade had a contest for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place with cash prizes!

My character ended up winning second place!!!!! It was amazing.

I have my boyfriend to thank for this wonderful character! He helped me with the props, the character design and the story. Next year will be even bigger and better when Adara Von Steinherz gets to grow into an even bigger and better character!
